So when I looked for love,
I got a lecture.
A good balanced bland mix,
Of reality and composure.
I argued that love is mad!
It is unbounded, unfounded,
Limitless, unpredictable,
Yet attainable, sustainable!
So I got a confused look,
Admonishing and a reality check.
Clean drawings, boundaries,
A balanced design and make.
Now I try hard to fit oceans,
Insides neat iceboxes.
Fearing my own power,
I measure love in ounces. ---
