Alternative Life

New day, new choices,
I pick one, let all the others go.
A new unfamiliar track,
At the end of the tunnel; a mild glow.

Try not to think of all the alternate lives,
Which I might have lived.
Had I chosen a different track,
A different person than Him.

Sometimes I live several parallel lives,
In so many times, time zones.
Simultaneously living,
The present, the possible and the bygones.

How beautiful!
I don't know of the choices now but yes the choices we made in our oast lives have a way of coming back to us till we learn...till we learn to let go, make another choices and do what we had to do back then. A visious circle of dying-living-learning!
