Eventually

I like the word eventually, It has a weird finality to it.

Eventually.

Maybe it's because of fear/terror/hatred of the flux. Because of hatered for having to wait. Maybe because of the discomfort during 'suspended action'.

All of us are striving. Constantly. We're striving to be able to get to someplace. Anyplace. We're are striving for that feeling of being constantly distracted.

A very minuscule chunk of us, knows for sure and with confidence, what exactly it is that he seeks. Others we're just striving to get to the outcome. To come to know what happens, eventually.

Striving in one chapter and eventually it ends. Then getting to next chapter, eventually gratifying our curiosity. Not knowing WHAT EXACTLY is the climax we'd like.

One pursuit to another, eventually.

Books aren't written so that we know the end first. But we all have some aspirations as to where it must conclude. Only very few are passionate about what they intend the outcome to be. Others, we find out what happened, eventually.

Eventually has several connotations.
For e.g. Eventually he got tired of trying and conceded defeat.
Eventually she became the queen of the world
Eventually, they became best friends.
Eventually, they all died.

Point is, the search most times is just for the conclusion, an end of a pursuit, a time of putting down the weapons and resting. Whatever had to happen has happened.

It is eventually that we find out what the struggle was all about.
